Morris Plains Resident Charged with Invasion of Privacy
March 6, 2008: Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Esq. and Morris Plains Chief of Police James Abbondanzo announce the arrest of John Kinnecom, age 57, of Morris Plains.
In September of 2007, Morris Plains Detective Sergeant Thomas D'Ambola and Morris County Prosecutor's Office Detective Dan Haber began an investigation into allegations of the defendant posting sexually explicit photographs of women onto the internet without their consent. Subsequent investigation and court processes
led to detectives seeking a search warrant for the defendant's residence. At approximately 8:00 am, members of the Morris Plains Police Department, Morris County Prosecutor's Office, and Morris County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant at the residence of John Kinnecom located at 11 Jaqui Avenue in Morris Plains.
As a result of the investigation the defendant was charged with:
Invasion of Privacy, NJSA 2C:14-9c, 3rd Degree.
Harassment, NJSA 2C:33-4c, a petty disorderly persons offense
The defendant was arrested on a summons and was released.
