August 21, 2008: Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Esq., Deputy Chief of Investigations William Schievella, and Hanover Township Chief of Police Stephen Gallagher announce the implementation of additional safety and sobriety checkpoints in Hanover Township over the weekend. The checkpoints will be staffed by members of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Hanover Township Police Department.

This initiative is being funded through a grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety. It is anticipated that these checkpoints will continue throughout 2008.
