Parsippany Man Arrested by Prosecutor's Sex Crimes Unit
The Morris County Prosecutor's Office Sex Crimes Unit arrested Guy E. Parker, 52, of Parsippany. Parker was charged with two counts of first degree aggravated sexual assault, one count of second degree sexual assault, and two counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a child.
The investigation was conducted by Detective Susan Johnson of the Sex Crimes Unit. The investigation revealed that Parker was allegedly engaged in a relationship with a relative of the victim when she was allegedly sexually abused between the ages of 8 and 16. Parker is being held in lieu of $250,000 cash bail in the Morris County Correctional Facility.
Despite these pending charges, they are merely allegations, and every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt following a jury trial at which the defendant has all of his or her rights guaranteed by the U.S. and New Jersey Constitution and relevant state law.
Prosecutor's Office joins Operation Medicine Cabinet
Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Esq., First Assistant Prosecutor Thomas A. Zelante, Esq., Chief William Schievella and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Community Affairs Unit will be joining Operation Medicine Cabinet on November 14, 2009 from 10:00 A.M., to 2:00 P.M., at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy, 500 West Hanover Avenue, Parsippany, New Jersey.
Operation Medicine Cabinet encourages all Morris County residents to clean out their medicine cabinets and bring unused or expired prescriptions, controlled substances and over-the-counter medications for safe disposal. The medication collection will take place in the Gymnasium where the public can simply walk-in and hand over their unused medications to Law Enforcement Officials, no questions asked. After the event, Law Enforcement Officials will take all of the medications collected and dispose of them in a safe and environmentally-friendly way.
In addition to helping communities rid their counties of unused prescription drugs, Operation Medicine Cabinet promotes awareness of juvenile prescription drug prevention efforts.
Operation Medicine Cabinet is a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, New Jersey Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration, New Jersey Prevention Network, New Jersey Chief's of Police Association, New Jersey Department of Human Services and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Veteran's Day Program at Morris View

The program will be held at Morris View Healthcare Center located at 540 West Hanover Avenue, Parsippany, NJ.
This program is co-sponsored by the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Morris County Department of Human Services and Morris View Healthcare Center in partnership with the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders and will honor the Veterans that reside at the Morris View Healthcare facility.
